With the upcoming Oppo spring cruise, one of the many things I’ll be needing is new tires. I had wanted to avoid Goodyear because of the G159 scandal, but this was such a good deal I couldn’t pass up.
I got a set of Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S in 195/55R15
Normally at full retail these would cost $728.12 after sales tax and enviro fee, but because these are discontinued, the clearance price and a bunch of stacking discounts I’ll end up paying after my mail-in-rebate comes back: $264.39 for 4 new tires (not including install).
These are highly rated tires, so I should be happy with them.

Where are you getting this price?

At my work
there’s 2 different staff discounts in that price. But I’d rather not post where I work.

That’s practically a price at which you buy a set even if you don’t need them. Dang.

Well if it's employee discount it doesn't exactly help the rest of us...

After the last 3 sets of Goodyears I’ve had, you paid about $564.39 too much.
Honestly, I wouldn’t put GYs on my vehicle if someone gave them to me and they got installed for free.
Hopefully you’ll have better luck with these, fingers crossed for you.
